Student Help Squad Ltd ("the Company", "we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales under Company Number 15439659. Our registered office is at 36–38 Cornhill, London, EC3V 3NG. We operate the platform at studenthelpsquad.co.uk and its associated sub-domains.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that:

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Students may use the Platform free of charge to search and apply for internships, find accommodation, store documents in DigiVault, sign contracts digitally, and track career goals. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or premium tiers with advance notice.
Students are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, CVs, and application materials. Submitting false qualifications or experience may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.
Employers must ensure that all job listings comply with UK employment law, including equality and non-discrimination obligations under the Equality Act 2010. Listings must accurately describe the role, hours, remuneration, and any legal requirements (e.g. right-to-work checks).
Employers are solely responsible for their hiring decisions. Student Help Squad acts as a platform facilitator and is not a party to any employment contract formed through the Platform.
Property Agents must ensure all accommodation listings are accurate, legally compliant, and meet applicable housing standards. Agents must hold any required licences for the properties they list. Student Help Squad does not guarantee the accuracy of listings and is not a party to any tenancy agreement formed through the Platform.
Universities using our oversight dashboard have access to placement monitoring data for their registered students only. Universities agree to use this data solely for academic and welfare purposes and to comply with UK GDPR obligations as data processors.
Users who participate in the referral programme ("Earn with Us") agree to our referral programme terms, which are published separately on the Platform. Referral commissions are paid at our discretion and are subject to verification. We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the referral programme at any time.
All content on the Platform — including the Student Help Squad name, logo, software, design, text, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Student Help Squad Ltd and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law.
You retain ownership of Content you upload, but by uploading it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, and display that Content as necessary to operate the Platform.
Certain features of the Platform require payment. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. We do not store card details.
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to our Refund Policy. For subscription services, you may cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of the paid billing period.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Student Help Squad Ltd shall not be liable for:
Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of any content on the Platform.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those third-party sites and services.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or if we decide to discontinue the Platform or any feature thereof. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-platform notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer and applicable law provides otherwise.
